Non-invasive cerebral-somatic Oximetery System
Oximetery system for non-invasively and continuously monitoring the blood oxygen saturation. Reliable and stable with distinct sensitivity and accuracy.

Oximetry System model CNIR-U20 Series

The CNIR-U20 series non-invasive brain oxygen monitoring device emits low-density near-infrared light that is harmless to the body. This light passes through a sensor placed on the patient's forehead, entering the skull and cerebral cortex. The light source on the sensor emits two different wavelengths of near-infrared light. Some of this light scatters in an arc due to refraction and scattering properties back toward the forehead. Two receiving points located at distances of 3 cm and 4 cm from the light source capture the scattered near-infrared light. Since oxyhemoglobin and deoxyhemoglobin absorb near-infrared light of different wavelengths to varying degrees, calculating the ratio of absorption between these two wavelengths allows determination of the ratio of oxyhemoglobin to deoxyhemoglobin, enabling rapid measurement of blood oxygen saturation in both hemispheres of the brain.
